Ingredients:
Brinjal(small ones) - 6 NosSmall onions - 10 Tamarind - 1 lemon sizeNallennnai(Gingelly Oil) - 4 Tb.spoonsChilli Powder - 1 Tb.spoonCoriander Powder - 1 Tea spoonTurmeric Powder - 1/2 TeaspoonFenugreek(Venthayam) - 1 Tea spoonCurry Leaves,Salt-As required

Instructions:

1.Cut Brinjals into 4 parts as a whole.2.Cut small onions into 2 halves.3.Add oil to kadai, and fry brinjals till its skin shrinks.4.Add onions few min before the brinjals get fried and fry the onions till golden brown.5.Now add fenugereek and fry till it bcomes slightly brown.6.Get thick tamarind pury by adding less amount of water to tamarind.7.To this add salt,Chilli Powder, coriander Powder.Mix it well.8.Add this solution to the kadai.9.Allow it to boil well and till you get a thick gravy10.Add chopped curry leaves at the last.11.The same gravy can be prepared using ladies Fingers.For this, cut ladies finger to small sizes and fry.Follow the above procedure.12.Add cocunut paste/coconut milk based if necessary.It adds taste to this dish
